Kevin is a true powerhouse in this music. Most people know him for his 21 year (and still running) stint as flute, whistle, and bodhran player with Lúnasa. But his resume shows much more than that! Kevin has four solo albums, and numerous other recordings with the likes of Cillian Vallely, The Teetotalers, Moving Cloud, and The Drunken Gaugers.
Born in Birmingham, England, Kevin moved to West Clare as a young man. He honed his skills in the Clare scene, playing regularly with the likes of Siobhan and Tommy Peoples, Joe Derrane, Tony Linnane, and Paul Brock.
Kevin is both a master player and a master teacher, receiving rave reviews for his teaching at festivals like the Swannanoa Gathering, O’Flaherty Retreat, Catskills Irish Arts Week, and Willie Week.
