Good morning!
Unfortunately, due to technical issues with our payment provider, we are delaying our registration by a week. This will allow us to rewrite our payment code and make sure it’s working properly. So sorry for the inconvenience!
On the Good News side, we’re really pleased to announce that Cillian Vallely has agreed to be part of our virtual 2020 staff! Cillian needs no introduction to most players of Irish traditional music. He has been the piper for the powerhouse band, Lúnasa, for the last 20+ years (along with 2019 staff alumni, Kevin Crawford).
“Vallely, whose family has played a seminal role in piping and Irish music in the north of Ireland for years, shows why he is one of the most respected pipers playing today” Irish Voice
Due to the fact that it’s quite difficult to get pipe reeds to work in the climate at Portal, we thought we would take advantage of the fact that we’re doing a virtual festival this year. So tell all your piper friends that they can finally be part of the Portal experience!
We’ll be frantically working though our payment issues, and we’ll make sure it’s all functioning and secure in the next week.
Thanks for your understanding!
Pete
