Greetings to all of our Portal Irish Music Week friends!

We’re getting excited for our 2025 camp! Classes will run from Thursday, September 18 through Monday, September 22. The travel days are the 17th and 23rd, with camp orientation and the first night’s sessions happening in the evening of the 17th.

This year’s fantastic instructor lineup includes:

  • Brian Conway – Fiddle
  • Marla Fibish – Mandolin
  • Isaac Alderson – Flute/Whistle
  • Johnny B. Connolly – Button Accordion
  • Pete Strickler – Tenor Banjo
  • Colin Lindsay – Fiddle & Concertina
  • Matt Heaton – Accompaniment

General registration will start this Sunday (03/02/2025). Registration is a two step process. First, you will communicate with Camp Director, Susan Mittlestadt via email at portalirishmusicweek@gmail.com. Susan may continue the conversation and take your deposit over the phone. Once you are registered with the camp, then it comes time to secure your lodging by contacting Cat from the Black Range Lodge at cat@blackrangelodge.com.

We can’t wait to see you all this September!

Sincerely,

Susan, Pete, and the entire 2025 PIMW Staff
