Greetings, friends!
This is just a reminder that registration for PIMW 2022 in its NEW LOCATION (Black Range Lodge, Kingston, NM) and NEW DATES (September 22-26, with travel days on each end) opens tomorrow, March 1st!
This registration process will be different than in the past, since we are moving to a new location. We want to be able to let you know how everything will work this year. Camp registration and lodging reservations will be handled separately.
You will want to register with Susan directly, prior to making your lodging and meal arrangements, which will be done directly with Catherine from Black Range Lodge. When you reach out to Susan, tell her your first and second choices for classes. (We guarantee the first class, assuming it hasn’t filled already, but the second class is subject to availability and scheduling).
We’re excited about our new home, but some things will be different this year:
- We will REQUIRE proof of vaccination against COVID-19
- We will follow current CDC guidelines at the time of camp for things like masks and distancing
- Your camp registration and lodging arrangements will be made separately
- Registration will be more of a manual process this year, so that we can make sure you understand all of the changes
- Lodging will be better in a lot of ways, but will likely require you to share a room (so gather your friends and get them all on board!)
- Nearest airports are Albuquerque or El Paso, both about 3 hours away (we will continue to try to help you find transportation from the airports)
- Get travel insurance for your flights, because there could still be new strains of COVID on the horizon. (If camp is canceled, you will receive a full refund)
The camp is going to be even a bit smaller this year, so classes are sure to fill up fast!
After a virtual camp in 2020, and no camp in 2021, we couldn’t be happier to be getting back to an in-person camp this year, and we hope you feel the same way!
