Classes and festivities for the camp will be centered around the Portal Peak Lodge. We’ve made arrangements for lodging and group meals at the PPL, and our all-inclusive camp package will include lodging there as well.

Additional lodging at discounted rates is available at several local guest ranches, B&Bs, and cottages, most of which are within 2 miles. These accommodations are modern and comfortable, but not all offer televisions, phone service, or other amenities. All PIMW attendees will enjoy free shuttle vans between participating lodges (see list below) and class and session sites.

Participants who register for the all-inclusive package will stay at Portal Peak Lodge, hub for most of the week’s activities, including meals. If you’re bringing a spouse who doesn’t play, you can do single occupancy, and both stay in the room.

When you register, you’ll be given an opportunity to suggest a roommate, if you opt for double occupancy.

This option includes all classes and meals, but you find your own lodging (see list below). All meals will be at Portal Peak Lodge and Cafe.

Portal is a small, remote town with limited services. With full attendance at PIMW, local accommodations will fill up quickly.
